Augusta Area Home residents, workers have hauntingly good time
Many residents, staff and volunteers joined in the fun of the annual Halloween Costume Party at the Augusta Area Home.
On Halloween, a collection of costumes were available at the home, and everyone had a good time getting in the Halloween spirit. In addition to costuming, a scavenger hunt was held in the morning. In the afternoon, residents enjoyed the kindergarten class who came in costume and sang for the residents. The Halloween party in the afternoon featured music by John Herman’s band “Just Friends.”
Residents played rhythm instruments and some danced. Prize drawings were held and refreshments were served. Decorated donuts were donated by volunteer JoAnne Quilling and were the perfect treat, served with pumpkin ice cream. After an early supper, many residents went out to the many people from the community join in our Halloween fun.
