Cathleen Maug

Cathy Mary (Wood) Maug, age 70, born on March 3, 1947, in Milwaukee, the daughter of William and Audrey Wood. She was united with the Lord on July 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Thomas Maug; mother of Larry (Joy) Lauterbach, Kelly Olson, Wendy (Dan) Sluga; sister of Susie Wood. She was blessed with many grand and great grandkids who will miss her dearly, Aimee (Mike, Jackson, Brielle, Addison, Jameson) Theilmann, Shawn Lauterbach, Trevor Lauterbach, Lucas Olson, Kyle Sluga, Mitchell Sluga, Barak Gelein, Kathleen and Bo Lauterbach. Cathy loved her family, and taking care of them. She loved to laugh and play jokes on others! Never complained and always smiled. Most importantly she loved the Lord. A special thanks to her sister Susie for her beautiful daily visits and care of Cathy.
A visitation was held Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. A funeral service was held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Elk Creek Lutheran Church, rural Osseo, with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
