Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson, age 77 of Tempe, Arizona formerly from Osseo, WI died June 30, 2018.
Charles was born August 20, 1940 to Paul and Margaret Johnson in Hale, rural Osseo where he grew up on a farm. After graduating in 1958 from Osseo High School and leaving the farm in 1963 he moved to California.
While in California he worked at two jobs, as a carpenter and driving bus for Greyhound Bus Lines for 10 years and then supervisor for the bus line for 15 more years. In 1987 he joined the Marin Airporter Bus as supervisor with buses running from Marin County to San Francisco Airport.
In 1991 he married Lynn and moved to Tempe, AZ in 1994 where he continued to drive bus for 14 years. He drove bus for 41 years total, driving approximately 2 million miles.
Charles is survived by his wife Lynn, grandson Michael, granddaughter Allison, great-grandson Lian, and also by his sister MaryAnn Keifer.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his children, Allison (in 2005) and Todd (in 2017).
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date in Tempe, Arizona.
