Cory Adam Frank, 31 of Fall Creek, WI passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Eau Claire.
He was born March 25, 1987 in Fairbanks, Alaska the son of Daniel and Faith (Johnson) Frank.
Cory was born at Fort Wainwright Army Base in Fairbanks Alaska. He grew up and was raised in the Augusta, Osseo, and Fall Creek areas. In 2005 he moved to Presque Isle in Northern Wisconsin where he lived until 2010. He then moved back to the Fall Creek area where continued to live and work and reside with his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Liddell. In 2009 he enlisted in the Army National Guard, in which he was active until his passing. Most recently serving in Bravo Co. 173rd Brigade Engineer Battalion, Onalaska; where he attained the rank of E5 Sergeant. Cory was such a unique person, loved by all who knew him. From the time he was a baby he made people smile. He loved to fish and hunt. His personality was contagious and he was absolutely vivacious! He was a hardworking man, in his personal life and the work that he has done for his country. There are no words to explain the void we will all feel forever.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel Frank and Faith (Derek) Kresser; girlfriend, Sarah Liddell: brothers, Cody Frank, Chad Johnson, Chris Kresser; grandparents, Wendy (Elaine) Frank; step grandmother, Annemarie Kresser; nephew, Braeden Frank; many aunts, uncles, and other family.
A Celebration of Cory’s life will be held from 2 – 4 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel 535 Hillcrest Pky. Altoona, WI. Military honors will be at 4 p.m.
