Dennis Maug

Dennis John Maug, 67, of Strum, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at his home.
Dennis was born May 19, 1950 in Eau Claire to John and Deloris (Anderson) Maug. He was baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and confirmed at Strum Lutheran Church. He attended Eleva-Strum schools.
Dennis was a lifelong resident of the Strum area. He dairy farmed for many years until his asthma worsened and he could no longer be in the barn.
Dennis enjoyed music and woodworking.
Dennis is survived by his sister Nancy, of Strum, and several cousins.
A celebration of Dennis’ life was held from 1:30-3:30 pm, Friday, September 8, 2017 at Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo. Burial followed in West Beef River Lutheran Cemetery in rural Strum.
