Edward Heiman

Edward Heiman, 74, of Taylor, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home, in the care of his family and Black River Memorial Hospice.
Ed was born October 11, 1942 in Sheffield, PA, to Adolph and Hattie (Zinger) Heiman.
Ed served in the U.S. Air Force at Ellsworth Air Force Base in Rapid City, South Dakota from 1960 – 1964. After his time in the service, he drove semi between Wisconsin and the east coast then farmed in the Marshall, WI area. Ed worked for Asphalt Construction Co. in Pewaukee and later for Payne & Dolan of Waukesha from 1980 until his retirement in 2005.
Ed married Linda Peterson on March 6, 1993 in Whitehall. In 1994 they purchased a farm in rural Taylor where Ed spent countless hours outdoors. He loved to hunt turkey and deer, designed deer plots, set up bear baits with trail cameras, sectioned a butterfly refuge, enjoyed fishing, ice-fishing, raised chickens and planted and harvested a large garden every spring. Ed, also, enjoyed woodworking, creating many unique items.
Ed is survived by his wife Linda; step-children Shannon (Pederson) Hasz of Osseo and Shawn Pederson of Eau Claire; grandchildren Shawn Pederson of Eau Claire, Jamie Pederson of Black River Falls, Jordyn Pederson of Black River Falls, Kendra Hasz of Osseo and Kaden Hasz of Osseo; a brother Lawrence Heiman of McFarland, a step-brother Ken Ward of Huntingdon, TN, several nieces and nephews and many friends who will miss him.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Fred and Albert.
At Ed’s request, no services will be held at this time.
Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo is assisting the family.
