Harlo Anderson

Harlo A. Anderson, 92, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Kindred Hearts of Elkhorn.
He was born November 2, 1924 in Osseo, WI, the oldest child of Helmer and Myrtle (Myren) Anderson. Harlo was baptized at Elk Creek Lutheran Church in Hale and confirmed at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church. He graduated from Lincoln Hill High School in Osseo in 1943.
Harlo was united in marriage to Nadine Graves on June 5, 1949 in Lone Star, Texas. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2015. Harlo was employed at Trostel’s Packing Company for 36 years, retiring in 1992.
Harlo was proud of his Norwegian heritage, to have served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and to have been a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan.
Harlo is survived by his 2 daughters, Kathleen Rossmiller of Elkhorn, Judy (Martin) Ehlen of Shawano; son Charles (Helen) Anderson of Walworth; son-in-law Harold Lois of Burlington. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Jeanette Mattison of Princeton, MN; and 2 brothers, Marlan Anderson of Bradenton, FL, Richard (Ruth) Anderson of Augusta.
In addition to his wife Nadine, he was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter Pat Lois; 2 sisters, Janice Smith and Grace Anderson; and 2 brothers, Marshall Anderson and Gerald Anderson.
A funeral service with military honors was held Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at Steinke Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, with interment at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Delavan Township.
