Karen Indrebo

Karen Anne Indrebo, 64, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2018 at Lake Hallie Memory Care in Chippewa Falls, Wis. Karen was born on September 13, 1953 in Eau Claire, Wis. to Lester and Marian (Gundersen) Indrebo.
She lived on the Indrebo family farm in King’s Valley until moving to Osseo in June 1990. After selling their house in Osseo, Karen and her mom moved to Eau Claire in April of 2014, living at Oakwood Hills Retirement for one year, then at Lake Hallie Memory Care until the time of her death.
She was a member of the King’s Valley Lutheran Church and then attended Baptist Evangelical Church after moving to Eau Claire.
Karen is survived by sisters Nancy (James) Peterson of Chippewa Falls and Janice Indrebo of Osseo; brother Gary (Laurie) Indrebo of Vacaville, CA; aunt Louise Gundersen of Eau Claire, a nephew and several nieces, all whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Lester, on October 26, 1999 and mom, Marian, on March 3, 2015.
Karen was a joy to all who knew her and an invaluable part of her family. She loved people and was a companion and wonderful caregiver to her mom, especially in later years. Karen just loved life and her special spark and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at King’s Valley Lutheran Church, Hwy 53 South, Osseo. Burial will be in the King’s Valley Cemetery at a later date.
Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, January 21, from 1-4 p.m. at the Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo and at the church one hour before the service on Monday.
