Karl Petersen

Karl Frank Petersen, 21, of Osseo, WI passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Mayo Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI.
He was born July 24, 1995 in Eau Claire to Gregg and Susan (Gill) Petersen. He graduated from Osseo-Fairchild High School in 2013. While in high school, he participated in basketball, football and baseball. Karl attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and CVTC in Eau Claire. He was currently employed as a certified wireman with Neo Solutions in Hudson, Wisconsin. Karl was passionate about the outdoors. He hunted, fished and competed in archery. Time spent with friends was always a priority to him.
He is survived by: parents Gregg and Susan Petersen; sisters Christa (Joe) Weber, Anna (fiancée Tara) and Laura (Jake) Nicholson; brother Eric; and special friend Trista Jacobson.
He was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents.
There was a visitation on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Cedarcreek Community Church 3520 Eastwind Drive, Eau Claire, WI 54701. A memorial service was held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm, with a visitation on hour prior to the service at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Eau Claire County 4-H, an organization that meant much to Karl and his family.
