Lori Robinson
Lori L. Robinson, 48, of Augusta, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday morning, Jan. 18, 2019.
Lori Lynn Robinson, daughter of Donald and Diane (Ives) Erdman was born Oct. 2, 1970 in Eau Claire. She was a life long resident of Augusta, where she was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church, attended school and graduated from Augusta High School. Lori was united in marriage to Paul Robinson on Jan. 16, 1988 at Grace Lutheran Church.
In addition to taking care of her family, Lori operated a daycare out of her home for 12 years. The children cared for by Lori were not only shown a tremendous amount of love but were treated as if they were her own. In 2010 she took a housekeeping position with the Augusta Area Nursing Home and was still working in that capacity at Augusta Health and Rehabilitation. While at this job she also tried to enrich the lives of the residents, as they did for her. For the past year she had also enjoyed working at Carol’s Spur and now for Troy’s Gas and Grub in Augusta.
Lori was definitely a hard working and caring individual. Her love she had for others started with family, as everyone in her family was so very special to her. In recent years she had enjoyed the 3 grandchildren that came into her life, as well as the other little ones. She also was an excellent baker, and loved the challenge of a good crossword or jigsaw puzzle.
Lori will be dearly missed by Paul, her husband who she had just celebrated 31 years of marriage; 2 daughters, Rebecca and Bradley Veenendall of Augusta, Amanda Robinson (Jon Bohl) of Fairchild; son Andrew Robinson of Augusta; 3 grandchildren, Brennen and Chase Veenendall, Thea Bohl; mother Diane Erdman of Augusta; 2 brothers, Ron and Kris Erdman, Herb and Sarah Erdman all of Augusta; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Lois Robinson of Augusta; Paul’s siblings, Brenda and Skip Pettis, Beth and Mike West all of Augusta, Doug and Kris Robinson of Fall Creek; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Lori was preceded in death by her father Donald “Tunk” Erdman on March 8, 1998; grandparents, Millie and George Ives, Elizabeth and Herbert Erdman; brother Terry Erdman on March 12, 2000; and nephew Wesley Robinson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta with Pastor Carlton Kangas officiating. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery in Augusta. A visitation was held Monday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
