Lynda Heinz
Lynda K. Heinz, age 61 of Black River Falls, died Friday, May 10, 2019 at her home after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family and close friends.
She was born in Black River Falls, on March 15, 1958, the daughter of Donald Heinz and Vivian Olson. After graduating, Lynda moved to LaCrosse for tech school and then to Chicago where she worked in the food service industry. She had many compliments from her managers and patrons. She moved back to Black River Falls to help take care of her mom and brother. Lynda then worked at the Ho-Chunk Casino for 15 years and was well liked and appreciated. While walking at the Lunda Center one day, she met Jim Talley. The two of them started talking and the rest is history.
Lynda was a wonderful, beautiful, compassionate, big-hearted person who had a genuine laugh and a million dollar smile. She loved camping and fishing on the Chippewa Flowage. She also enjoyed a nice cocktail or a glass of wine on the deck while Jim grilled. Lynda was a coupon queen and bargain hunter, who enjoyed going to flea markets and jewelry shops, always coming home with a least 1 pair of earrings. She and Jim enjoyed going to Hayward, Bayfield and Trempealeau.
She is survived by her significant other Jim Talley; brother Roger (Katie) Heinz; niece Kari Lawson; and nephew Kristopher Heinz.
Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Ronnie.
