Patricia Martha Martinson (Hagen), age 86 of Osseo, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Our House Senior Living in Eau Claire.
She was born on June 20, 1932 in Eau Claire to Roy and Ethel Hagen. Patricia married Eldon Martinson on August 26, 1950.
She worked hard alongside her husband on the farm for 39 years. She loved cooking, always going through cookbooks and trying new recipes. Patricia enjoyed knitting, gardening, doing volunteer work for the Osseo Hospital Auxiliary and playing the piano at the Osseo Nursing Home. When she was in school, Patricia was the high school band majorette and she was a den mother when Mark was in cub scouts. She was the former Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church secretary for 8 ½ years and she painted the inside of many senior apartments and homes of several families in the Osseo area.
But most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Family was very important to her.
She is survived by her husband Eldon; son Mark (Jennifer); daughter Debbie Martinson, all of Osseo; 2 grandchildren: Jerrad (Krystal) of Osseo and Nathan (Allison) of Eau Claire; 4 great-grandchildren: Noah, McKenzee, Evelyn and Avery; brother John (Margaret) Hagen of Eau Claire; 2 sisters: Eljean (Richard) Puent of Windsor, WI and Margaret Hagen of Madison; 4 sisters-in-laws: Frances Hagen of Osseo, Ardyce Hagen and Alvina Hagen both of Eau Claire and Sally Hagen of Tulsa Okla.; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Roy and Ethel Hagen; parents-in-laws Edwin and Julia Martinson; brothers: Lyman, Jim, Bob and Ronald; sister Verda Johnson; and sister-in-law Tilla Hom.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church, 50351 Harmony St., with Pastor Terry Lorenz officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday. Burial will be in the Osseo Cemetery at a later date.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Heartland Hospice and Our House Senior Living for their wonderful care of Patricia.
