Perry Baynton

Perry Lee Baynton, 75, of rural Strum, WI died Friday, March 16, 2018 at his home.
Perry was born October 3, 1942 in Traverse City, MI to Alfred and Virginia (Lake) Baynton.
After graduating from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Hannah, MI he attended trade school and completed his apprenticeship as a millwright. After working in the Indiana area for a number of years he moved to his farm in rural Strum in 1977. He continued working throughout Wisconsin until his retirement.
Perry enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt and fish, tend to his rose bushes, work the fields on the farm and tend to his animals.
Perry is survived by his children, Shannon Baynton of Strum, John Baynton of Strum, Thomas Baynton of Strum, Ronald Baynton of Custer, MI and Robin (Todd) McCumber of Custer, MI; his mother Virginia Baynton of Buckley, MI; brothers, John (Jean) Baynton of Buckley, MI and Gary (Shannon) Baynton of Buckley, MI; sisters, Barbara (Wayne) Radcliff of Traverse City, MI, Lorraine (Mike) Hamilton of Kingsley, MI and Elaine (Mike) Mezzano of Higgins Lake, MI, sister-in-law Marie Baynton of Grawn, MI; six grandchildren, Austin, Josephine, Hailey, Stephanie, Jenny and Joe.
Perry was preceded in death by his father Alfred, his son Roger and a brother Bill.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo, WI. Rev. Valerian Ahles will be officiating. Burial will follow in West Beef River Lutheran Cemetery in rural Strum.
Friends may call from 11:30-1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
