Randall Anderson

Randall Carl Anderson, 69, of Osseo, died Thursday, September 29, 2016, at his home under the care of his family and Mayo Home Health and Hospice.
Randy, the son of Carl and Irma (Dobrenz) Anderson, was born February 27, 1947, in Milwaukee.
Randy graduated from Osseo High School in 1964 and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Randy married Dorinda Fox September 10, 2005 at South Beef River Lutheran Church.
Randy worked for a number of years for Hong Furniture in Osseo prior to joining the staff at the Trempealeau County Courthouse where he was employed for 25 years. He retired on May 16, 2016. In the 1970’s, Randy and his brothers formed the band “Sage” and played together for over 40 years. They usually played within a 100-mile radius because it was important to them to be home at night with family.
Randy was a member of Craig S. Olson VFW Post #8514 and was a past commander. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, playing softball, working in his garden and chopping firewood.
Randy is survived by his wife Dorinda; five children, Michael (Tikkie) Anderson of Bangkok, Thailand, Lucas (Dionne) Anderson of Osseo, Jed (Jodi) Anderson of Greenfield, Ashley (Matthew) McCoy of Eau Claire and Andrew Culver (Alison Meerkins-Weiler) of Hopkins, MN; his mother, Irma Anderson of Osseo; eight grandchildren, Nicholas and Karla Anderson, Sawyer and Spencer Anderson, Callie and Jackson Anderson, Avery and Jameson McCoy; sister, Linda (Stan) Paulson of Osseo; brothers, Glenn (Sandy) Anderson of Spooner, Gary (Peggy) Anderson of Osseo, Mark (Vickie) Anderson of Osseo and Jeffrey (Karen) Anderson of Eau Claire. He also leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Carl; brother-in-law Steve Boley; father-in-law, Donovan Fox.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at South Beef River Lutheran Church, rural Osseo, with Rev. Linda Marlett officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Levis Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM, Monday at Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo. Friends may also call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church on Tuesday.
