Theron Paulson

Theron M. Paulson, age 95 died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Pigeon Falls Health Care Center in Pigeon Falls.
He was born on February 9, 1923 in the town of Pigeon to Nora Tomten and Henry Paulson.
Theron attended the Thorson School and graduated from Whitehall High School. He married Anna Ruth Hanson on June 8, 1946 at the Pigeon Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church. Theron was a life long member of the church where he served several terms on the church council as a deacon, a trustee and as an usher. He was a dedicated member of the Trempealeau County Farm Bureau where he served 12 years on the board of directors and 2 terms on the State Dairy Committee.
He farmed with his wife in the town of Pigeon for 41 years. For 36 years he owned and operated a can and bulk milk route with his brother John. Upon his retirement, they moved to their other home in Osseo. Although retired, he was called often to drive for local businesses, picking up or delivering cars and trucks or running errands from them.
Theron enjoyed traveling and with his wife, had been to all 50 states and 5 foreign countries. He took great pride in his farm, his cars and his home.
He is survived by his sons: Tyrone (Susan) Paulson of Madison, Ronnie (Stacy) Paulson of Osseo and Verlyn (Cindy) Paulson of Menomonee; 8 grandchildren: Chad, Emily, Shannon, Laramy, Samantha, Collette, Dakota and Braden; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are: his wife; a daughter Rogene, his brother John and his parents.
Theron will be remembered for his constant smile, clever and ready wit and his love of people. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services for Theron will be held at Peace Lutheran Church of Pigeon Falls on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Mary Ann Bowman officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
