Warren Ardell Robinson, age 88 of Osseo, passed away Friday morning, August 18th, 2017 at Dove Healthcare in Osseo.
Warren was born on July 30, 1929 to Walter and Annie (Pawelke) Robinson and grew up with his 6 siblings in Johnson Valley, rural Strum. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Strum. Warren attended the North Branch Country School, and graduated in 1943. He proudly served within the United States Navy for 4 years, as part of N.T.C. Great Lakes Co 164. Following his honorable discharge, Warren returned to Wisconsin. He was a very hard worker and worked at the Janesville Ford Auto Plant, Frank Construction, Winona Plumbing, and as an Operating Engineer for the County of Trempealeau throughout his long career. He retired from the County of Trempealeau in 1992.
Warren married Charlotte Call on June 6, 1959 and they raised 4 daughters in Osseo. Warren loved to spend time outdoors and his favorite past times include fishing, hunting, gardening and appreciating nature. Warren will be remembered for being a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend to many.
Warren is survived by his wife Charlotte (Call); daughters Renee Robinson of Eau Claire; Rochelle (Joe) Pederson of Altoona; Janet Robinson of Minneapolis, MN; and Jennifer (Jason) Armstrong of Minnetonka, MN; Grandson Graelan Armstrong; brother Leonard (Josie) Robinson of Osseo; 3 sisters, Irene Franson of Whitehall, Doris (Riley) Fletschock of Eau Claire, Janice (David) Erickson of Sun City, AZ; several nieces, nephews and their families.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents; sister Ruth Hasart; brother Gordon Robinson; brothers-in-law, Alvin Franson and Al Hasart.
Memorial services for Warren will be 1:00 pm, Monday, August 21, 2017, at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osseo. Rev. Terry Lorenz will be officiating.
Friends may call from 11:00 – 1:00 pm Monday at the church.
