Ann E. (nee: Preston) Danzinger-Kippenberger

Ann E. (nee: Preston) Danzinger-Kippenberger, age 78 of Bullhead City, AZ, died on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her home in Bullhead City.
Ann was born on January 31, 1939, in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.  In 1946, she immigrated to the United States with her mom, Norreen Peston-Rudy and new step father, Roy B Rudy. Once in the United States, the growing family settled into a military living style. The family moved from one Army base to another throughout Ann’s adolescence, finally to call “home” in the state of Virginia.  Ann Married Jerome “Jerry” Danzinger in the early 1960’s, they settled in Madison and later in De Forest. Together they had 3 children and later divorced.  A few years later she moved to Lakeland, Florida and then to Fort Myers.
Ann had a passion for helping others in their time of need. Being a registered nurse for over 30 years was a natural fit for her. She additionally enhanced her nursing skills in the Army Reserve Nurses Corps. Ann attained the rank of Captain before retiring. She also was a traveling nurse, which landed her in Sacramento, CA. for a number of years. Ann, finally retired in Bullhead City, AZ. where she was part of the emergency alert team.  The hobbies Ann enjoyed delving into are not limited to, but, include collecting cook books & watching the Food Network to find that one great recipe she had to try. Also she enjoyed “vintage shopping,” going to various thrift stores to find a diamond in the rough, so she could bring back to life &/or find a new purpose for it.  She was very creative and a master at making something that seemed useless into something very nice and functional. Her talents will be missed amongst other things as well.   Ann had a soft spot for cats, she leaves behind 2 “fur babies”, Harry and Sally. They miss their human mommy, as we do.
Loved ones left behind are son Robert “Bob” Danzinger of Waunakee, WI, daughter Sandy (AJ) Devine of Madison, WI  and daughter Terri Danzinger of Durand, WI. grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Keaton and Braeden.  Ann had estranged her sisters and brothers earlier in life and later regretted that decision as years passed. Her siblings are Heather, Roy Jr., Ron, Mimi, Betty and Rosie. Ann is also survived by former in-laws, many nieces, nephews and the extended Danzinger and Rudy families. She is preceded in death by an infant son, her mother and stepfather, sister Dixie, a brother Aaron and former husband, Jerry Danzinger.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
