ARDIS ELAINE WARREN

Ardis Elaine Warren, 71, of Holmen, lost her battle with caner Friday, March 6, 2015. She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Plum City, Wisconsin on September 6, 1943 to Ferdinand and Florence (Anderson) Sundvall. She married Duane B. Warren on June 19, 1965 in Stockholm, WI and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1990.
Ardis worked at Skogen’s IGA and Festival Foods for over 20 years and for the Bank of Onalaska for 16 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Julie Warren of La Crosse and Janelle Warren of Sparta, a sister, Luella (Glenn) Claflin of St. Paul, MN, grandchildren, Matthew Holley, Morgan (Keith) Hendrickson, Alex and Austin Shufelt, Kaitlin Warren and Jordan Eckert, and a great granddaughter, Chloe. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane, and her parents.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 410 Main Street Onalaska. The Reverend Jason Stanton officiated and burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin, WI. Information and on-line condolences may be given to the family at www.dickinsonfuneralhomes.com.
