Delven Duane Brown

Delven Duane Brown, 74, of Newcastle, WY, and Durand,WI, passed away on February 7, 2018 at home.
Delven was born April 12, 1943 to Peter and Bernice Brown. He married Diane Tubbs on June 4, 1960 in Menomonie, WI, and they had three children: Kelly, Holly, and Sheila. They lived in the Durand area until moving to Wyoming in 1979 where Delven worked for many years as a logger until his retirement.
Delven enjoyed the outdoors and watching the wild animals in his yard. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He always had a wonderful hunting or fishing story to tell and loved loading his visiting family into the car and being the ultimate tour guide to all Wyoming had to offer.
Delven is preceded in death by four brothers: Charles, Ronald, Richard, and Darrel; his parents Peter and Bernice; his son Kelly Brown; daughter Sheila Brown Cook; and one grandson, Matt Cook.
Delven is survived by his wife Diane, of 57 years; daughter Holly of Newcastle, WY; three sisters all in WI, Ardith Knuth of Eau Claire, Torleta Yoder of Glenwood City, and Juanita Shafer of Altoona; along with several grandkids and great-grandkids.
Delven will be laid to rest in Newcastle, WY. A memorial service will be held at the Senior Center, in Newcastle, on April 20, 2018.
