Elmer C. Peterson

Elmer Charles Peterson (92) of the Town of Nelson died Friday, September 16, 2016 at Potter’s Country Home in rural Menomonie. He was born April 1, 1924 in the Town of Nelson; son of the late Theodore and Susie (Lee) Peterson. Elmer attended Cascade School and farmed the family farm his entire life. He was a lifetime member of Lyster Lutheran Church in rural Nelson.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Palmer, Ronald Peterson, Steven Peterson, Patricia Cusick, Rhonda Reeser, David Peterson and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Peterson. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell and Palmer; and a niece, Bonita Peterson.
