Everett Thomas Hetrick

Everett Thomas Hetrick, 79, of Pepin, WI passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Wabasha, MN. He was born October 2, 1946 in Durand, WI; son of David and Evelyn (Steele) Hetrick.
He attended school in Pepin. In 1967 he was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam.
On December 11, 1971 he married Connie Schlieker. To this union one son was born, Andy. They later divorced.
On October 3, 2004 he married Kim Mc Donnell.
Everett worked as a custodian at the Pepin Area Schools, he retired after 36 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching westerns on TV, drawing, and writing poems. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; son, Andy (Candi) Hetrick of Pepin; two grandchildren, Sierra Hetrick (Garrett Kelling) of New Lisbon, MN and Jalen (Emma) Hetrick of Lenoir City, TN; one great grandson, Bennett Kelling; brother, James (Geri) Hetrick ; sister, Darlene (Darrel) Larson; sister-in-law, Aleeta Hetrick and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Evelyn (Steele) Hetrick; step-father, Ole Erickson; brothers, Ronald (Barbara), Charles (Virginia) and John Hetrick; sister, Marilyn (James) Fleming.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Pepin Lions Club in Pepin, WI
