Frank Joseph Kothbauer

Frank Joseph Kothbauer passed away in his home on March 22, 2019. He was born on August 28, 1932 to Frank and Louise (Brantner) Kothbauer on the home farm in rural Durand, WI. He attended school at Holy Rosary Lima, WI. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Mondovi Conservation Club. He was a church usher at Sacred Heart in Mondovi and Holy Rosary, Lima. He married Vivian Heath on June 12, 1951. He farmed all his life and started his own implement business on his farm near Mondovi, WI. He also was a truck driver for Agriliance, Durand Coop and Cenex. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by their infant child Frank Allen, parents Frank and Louise Kothbauer, sister Louise (Norbert) Weiss, and brother Richard (Loretta). Survived by wife Vivian; 6 children: Mike(Sheila), Pat, Dale, Rita (Scot) Miller, Frank Loren (Colleen), Ed (Karen); 10 grandchildren: Jennifer, Terri, Mary, Samantha, Aubrey, Sydney, Nathaniel, Melinda, Casey, Jenna; and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial mass was held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mondovi with Father Paul Bosco as celebrant. Inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mondovi at a later date. A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the Mass
