John Michael Bernhardt

John Michael Bernhardt, 70, of Mazeppa, MN died Thursday, July 3, 2025 at his home. He was born October 26, 1954 in White Pine, MI; son of James and Grace (Blohm) Bernhardt.
John grew up in Pepin, WI, then moved to rural Mazeppa, MN. He worked at Di-Acro and IBM. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and storytelling.
He is survived by siblings Steve (Terri) Bernhardt, Joel Bernhardt, and Nancy (Don) Gisch; nephew Don (Suzy) Gisch and their three children; Aunt Irene Blohm and family; Aunt June Olson; cousins Sharon Gunter, Bob Gunter and family, Georgia Baker and family; many friends; and Jake, his faithful dog buddy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lori (Dale) Mosiman; and brother, Robert.
No services are being planned at this time. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
