Judy Marie Fagerland

Judy Marie Fagerland, age 76, of Mondovi, Wi, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with breast cancer at the Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.
Judy was born December 8, 1941, to Bill and Elizabeth Biesterveld.  She grew up in a large, loving family, with four sisters and five brothers in the Rock Falls area.  After high school she went to work at Luther Hospital as a nurse’s aide.  She married Tom Fagerland in Mondovi, Wi, on December 5, 1964.  She was a devoted mother and wife, staying home to raise her four children.  Judy had a strong work ethic, and gave one hundred percent to everything she did.  Tom and Judy bought the Durand Café in January of 1988.  Judy loved the friendships she made and enjoyed the hard work and dedication that came with it.  Judy was a very dedicated Religious Education teacher for many years.  She loved sharing her faith in God with the little ones. She had a gift for gardening and flowers and could often be seen working around town in the community flower beds.  Judy was extremely hard working, took pride in her house, and no stain was too big. 
Judy is survived by her husband Tom Fagerland, and their four children: Kipper of Durand, Elizabeth of Mondovi, Tonja (Bob) Binkowski of Plum City, and Kyle (Julia) of Mondovi, her eight grandchildren: Harley, Savannah and Tess Fagerland, Bailey Fagerland, Joe, Dalton and Dillon Binkowski, Christopher Clements, and her two great grandchildren: Aria Binkowski and Keegan Fagerland.  She is also survived by her brothers and sisters:  Bill (Rita), Doug (Kathy), and Roger (Julie) Biesterveld, Irma (Don) Bauer, and Audrey Biesterveld, and brother and sister- in- law John and Joann Fagerland, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. 
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bob and Gary, sisters, Wilma Wittig, and Pat Ulwelling, father and mother- in- law Harley and Marie Fagerland, and precious great grandson, Noah John Fagerland.

Memorial Services will beheld at 11:30AM Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Durand. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Rock Falls at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until the time of services at the church on Wednesday the 26th.
