Kathleen Clara Wood

Kathleen Clara Wood (65) of Arkansaw, WI died Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the home of her daughter in Prescott, WI. She was born January 23, 1953 in Lake City, MN; daughter of Vernon Allers and Frances Burgett. She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City, MN.
On January 30, 1971 she married Jerry Wood in Mazzeppa, MN. They lived in Arkansaw where Kathleen worked as a custodian at the Arkansaw Schools for 32 years. She enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, camping, playing bingo and bean bag toss. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wood of Arkansaw; children, Ann (Larry) Logsdon of Prescott, WI, Doug (Diane) Wood of Durand, WI, Patti (John Stuhl) Tulip of Prescott, WI; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Jerry and LaVern Allers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Allers and Frances Burgett; daughter, Kristina Wood and brother, Kenny Allers.
Memorial services was held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw with Pastor Dan Richardson officiating.
