Larry L. Dunbar
Larry L. Dunbar, 77 of Durand, WI died on Friday, March 29 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born April 14, 1941 to Gerald H. Dunbar and Dorothy (Doughty) Dunbar. He attended Plummer School, followed by Arkansaw High School. Larry married his high school sweetheart, Kay Harmon on June 16, 1961 at his parent’s farm in Arkansaw. Larry and Kay settled in Durand and raised four children. Over the years, Larry was a salesman, real estate broker, and auctioneer. Larry had a passion for horses, hunting dogs, rodeos, good food, western movies, and Zane Grey books. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Larry is survived by his children: Tammy (Bob) Schlosser, Durand, Tim Dunbar, Menomonie, Tyler Dunbar, Eau Claire, Teana (Cory Cooper) Ebensperger, Wheeler. His grandchildren: Aaron (Alyssa Fort), Logan (Alexandra) Schlosser, Mikayla Dunbar, Kayden and Marik Ebensperger, Damien and Aaliyah Dunbar. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kay Harmon Dunbar, His parents, Gerald and Dorothy Dunbar, his brother, Jack Dunbar, as well as many beloved in-laws and other relatives.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
