Linda grew up on a dairy farm in Arkansaw, Wisconsin where she attended a one-room school. She graduated from Arkansaw High School and continued her education by earning a degree as a radiology technician from Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. She left Wisconsin to travel the world. Her last rescue, a pit bull named Priscilla, was scheduled to be put down the day Linda adopted her. In her retirement, Linda enjoyed taking long road trips, frequently traveling to New York City where she attended the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show with her friend Barb Ebarb. She enjoyed spending time with her dear friends, Sandi Glorifield, Shannon Lerner and Catherine Swilley.
