Loretta Elgene Koller

Loretta Elgene Koller, age 87, of Mondovi, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 into the arms of her Lord and Savior at The Homeplace in Mondovi. She was born on May 27, 1931 in Dunn County to Alvin "Pat" and Jessie (DeLong) Snider. She grew up in the area and attended country school. She was united in marriage to James Koller on August 9, 1948. They farmed in the Durand area and raised seven children; they later divorced. Loretta worked several jobs over the years, ending as a nurse's aide at Dunn County Healthcare. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mondovi. She loved to do ceramics and crochet. She will be deeply missed.
Loretta is survived by her six children, Sandy (Bob Davis) Winberg of Mondovi, Karen (Duane) Hugdahl of Arizona, Cindy (Roger Lokken) Schlosser of Eleva, Jeff Koller of Eau Claire, Mike (Pam Miller) Koller of Mondovi, and Pam (Rod) Dregney of Mondovi; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lavern Snider of Mondovi and Jerry (Janice) Snider of Eau Claire; her son Larry’s special friend, Rita Borreson of Blair; special "sister", Clara Kobs; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Koller, and parents, Pat and Jessie Snider.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mondovi with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. Private burial will follow at a later date. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the church. Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi is assisting the family with arrangements.
