Marie F. Hunt
Hunt, Marie F. age 84, of Plymouth, MN formerly of Durand, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2016 at Saint Therese Care Center in New Hope, MN, after courageously facing Alzheimer’s Disease. Marie was born in Cle Elum, WA, on Sept. 6, 1931 and lived in Thorp and Ellensburg, WA until her marriage in 1954, after which she lived in Portland, OR; Hanford, CA; Butte, MT; Bellevue, WA; Durand, WI; Seattle, WA; and Plymouth, MN. Marie devoted her life to her children. After they entered school, she held many positions as an administrative assistant, including Wis. Gas Co., McMahon Motors, QVC, Fingerhut and Metris. Her favorite job was in the Registrar’s office at Central Washington State College, where she received her certificate in secretarial science. Survived by children, David (Ruth) Hunt, Denise (Richard) Polzer, Douglas (Carolyn) Hunt and Deanna Hunt; grandchildren, Andrew (Catherine) and Nathan Hunt, Madelaine Jereczek (Joseph Wetzel), Arvid J. (Renee) and Jared (Jenny) Jereczek, Marisa (Jake Winter) and Gavin Polzer, Thomas (Jessy) Polzer, Carol (Jon) Karna and Sarah (Travis) Hale, Lauren Hunt and Sarah (Nick) Howard, Jake and Tobin Harrison; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Drew, Arvid Dane, Alex and Emma Jereczek, Stella and Sawyer Howard; siblings, Bernice (Bill) Haberman, Harriet (Larry) Bland and Robert (Keri) Gregerich; brother-in-law, Laurin Mellergaard; former spouse, Donald Hunt; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceded in death by infant grandson, Austin Hunt; parents, Manda and Frank Gregerich, Sr.; sister, Margie Mellergaard; brother, Frank Gregerich, Jr. and sister-in-law, Lillian Gregerich. Special thanks to caregivers, Journey Klugman and Linda Neuberger. Mass of Christian Burial 11 A.M. May 3, 2016 with visitation one hour prior, at the Parish Community of St. Joseph, 8701 36th Ave. N, New Hope. Interment services will be in Ellensburg in early August.
