Mildred Minnie “Millie” Dahl
Mildred Minnie “Millie” Dahl, age 98, of Durand, died on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Home Place in Durand. She was born on February 7, 1919 in Frankfort Township. She moved throughout her childhood and attended Little Plum School. On May 6, 1936 she married Lester Dahl at the Ella Church parsonage. The couple made their home in Durand for a year before moving to Frankfort Township. In 1952 they moved to St. Paul, MN and returned to Frankfort Township in 1982. Lester died on December 25, 1992. Millie was a member of East Emmanuel Lutheran Church in St. Paul and Little Plum Lutheran Church in Frankfort Township. She will be deeply missed.
Millie is survived by her three children, Arthur (Viola) Dahl of Danbury, Michael Dahl of Florida, and Mary (Donald) Rustand of Maplewood, MN; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Karen Dahl; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; son, Stanley Dahl; grandson, Arthur Dahl, Jr.; parents; sister, Verna Patnode; and brother, Roger Fredrickson.
