Panther track competes at sectionals

    The Panther track team competed at sectionals in Medford on May 26. Results are as follows.
    Hannah Prissel finished 7th in the girls’ high jump with a jump of 4-10.00.
    The girls 3200m relay team, consisting of Hannah Prissel, Emma Hansen, Megan Baier, and Shae Baier set a new school record at 10:28.87, finishing 7th.
    Karter Kurth finished 5th in the boys’ 100m dash at 11.48.
    Kurth finished 9th in the 200m dash preliminaries at 23.46. Brett Ingli finished 11th at 23.72
    The boys 1600m relay team, consisting of Brett Ingli, Karter Kurth, Uriah Reed, and Darren Meixner set a new school record of 3:29.35, finishing fifth.
    Meixner finished 13th in the boys’ long jump at 18-03.00.
    Brooke Polzer took 10th in the girls’ triple jump at 32-08.00.
    Brett Tomlinson finished 11th in the boys’ 3200m run at 10:37.98.
    Unfortunately, no Panthers advanced to the State track meet, ending the 2016 season.
    The Panthers will lose seniors Darren Meixner, Cori Prom, Uriah Reed, Gildardo Rodriguez, and Mandy Schade.
