Ranny Rod Snyder

Ranny Rod Snyder (68) of Durand, WI died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Mayo Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI. He was born May 24, 1951 in Wabasha, MN; son of Lyle and Betty Lue (Breitung) Snyder.
He graduated from Durand High School. Ranny worked various jobs around the area. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. When he was younger he was a proud member of the Boy Scouts Troup #54. Along with his sense of humor, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sci-fi movies. He was very close with his mother and they spent a lot of time together, watching westerns, shopping and going to the state fair every year.
He is survived by his father, Lyle Snyder; aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lue (Breitung) Snyder.
A memorial service was held 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church in Durand, WI with Rev. Lori Ruge-Jones officiating. Friends called one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin, WI at a later date. Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI is assisting the family.
