Ronald LeRoy Gifford
Ronald LeRoy Gifford, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and decorated veteran, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on July 14, 1938, to the late Wallace Gifford and Dorothy (Foster), Ronald's life was one of dedication, service, and love for his family and country.
Ronald's early years were shared with his siblings, the late Wallace Jr., Gene, and Lorraine Anderson, forging bonds and memories that would last a lifetime. His heart found its match in his late wife, Norita (Seipel), with whom he built a life full of joy and raised a wonderful family. Together, they were proud parents to seven children: Stephen (Annette) Gifford of Alma, MO, Daniel Gifford of Oak Park, IL, Kate (Kenneth) Anderson of Menominee, MI, Polly (Robert) Whitehouse of Coleman, WI, Wally (Tammy) Gifford of Kaiser, MO, and their beloved 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Ronald's legacy continues to flourish through his descendants, even as he reunites with his grandsons, Joshua Magnin and Micah Gifford, who predeceased him.
Family will receive relatives and friends on June 21st at Good Shepard Lutheran Church (331 Pine St. Peshtigo, WI). From 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. Pastor David Murphy is officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery with Military honors. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home is serving the family.
