Two arrested in Dunn County drug bust
Members of the West Central Drug Task Force, with assistance form the Dunn County Sheriff's Office, Department of Criminal Investigation Clandestine Lab Team, and Menomonie Fire Department conducted a search warrant in the Village of Eau Galle at E2938 37th Avenue on the morning of July 20.
Investigators acted on credible information that the male resident, Todd Allen Doverspike, Jr., was actively cooking methamphetamine.
A search of the residence and property yielded numerous items of methamphetamine paraphernalia, Psilocybin mushrooms, methamphetamine, methamphetamine manufacture waste, and two 20-pound tanks of anydrous ammonia. Doverspike, along with his brother, Jeffery Phillip Meixner, were taken into custody.
Todd Doverspike, Jr., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, two counts of storing/transporting anhydrous ammonia in an illegal container, maintaining a drug house, and bail jumping.
Jeff Meixner was found hiding in a storage shed and was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, possession of a schedule II narcotic, and also held on a child support warrent out of St. Croix County.
The illegal anhydrous tanks were mitigated per policy and procedure and are no longer a safety threat.
