Victoria “Vickie” Andrews

Victoria “Vickie” Andrews, 70, of Arkansaw, WI passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at home with her family by her side. She was born July 19, 1949 in the Bronx, New York; daughter of Michael and Lorretta (Henehan) Tomasek. She attended and graduated from high school in the Bronx. She worked as a secretary in Manhattan.
She married John Andrews on June 25, 1970, in Pepin, WI. After spending a short time in Minnesota and Iowa, they returned to the family farm in August of 1978. They resided on the family farm on Maple Ridge most of their married life where they raised their children and cared for their animals. The most important thing to Vickie was her faith in, and service to God. This was evident in the compassion, love, and tenderness she showed to her family and friends. She loved traveling to visit their children and grandchildren, as well as her life on the farm, from working with her husband, enjoying her flowers and yard, to tending to household chores. Vickie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, whose love, kindness, and gentleness brought happiness to those around her.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Andrews; son, John M. Andrews of Black River Falls, WI; daughters, Laura Andrews of Denver, CO, Kristina Andrews of Labelle, FL, Carla (Chris) Postma of Zumbro Falls, MN; nine grandchildren, Janelle, Michael, Hannah, Felicia, Heather, David, Erik, Abigail, and Elise; siblings, Terry Tomasek, Mary (Angelo) Cusano, Roy (Arlene) Tomasek, Joey (Rosie) Velasco, Diane Velasco, and Linda Clark; special friend, Wanda Johnson; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Lorretta (Henehan) Tomasek; step-mother, Betty Tomasek; brothers, Michael Tomasek and Ronnie (Wray) Goetz.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the Arkansaw Memorial Cemetery in Arkansaw, WI. Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand is assisting the family. To express on-line condolences, visit obituaries at www.goodrichfh.com.
