William “Bill” Joseph Joyner

William “Bill” Joseph Joyner (86) of Durand, WI died Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Menomonie, WI. He was born August 1, 1938 in Knapp, WI; son of Charles and Mabel (Peppinger) Joyner.
He married Etta Allen and together they had seven children. They later divorced.
Bill worked various farming and manufacturing jobs, his last was at Swiss Miss, where he worked for 23 years before retiring.
On December 20, 1997 he married Edith (Jamison) Paine at the River Hills Church in Durand. Edith died January 7, 1999. He married Genevieve Jamison on September 28, 2002 in Durand. She died May 19, 2013.
Bill enjoyed doing construction, wood working, tinkering on vehicles, traveling and polka dances.
He is survived by his children, Glen Joyner of Boyceville, WI, Jerry Joyner of Amery, WI, Lottie (Terry) Hiben of Elkhart Lake, WI, Jeanette Joyner of Menomonie, WI ; Patty Jo Hill of Dunnellon, Fl; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren;brothers, Orval Eastland, Bobbie Eastland and Howard Heller; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wives, Edith and Genevieve; sons, Timothy and William Jr.; sisters, Edna Tompson, Charolette Scott, Betty Scott, Mary Honeycutt; brothers, Vernon Heller and Donald Heller.
