After a life well lived, Jack Furtney, age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 26th, 2025.
An avid outdoorsman, Jack loved hunting and fishing, especially fishing in South Dakota. He also had a passion for gardening, spending countless hours tending to his tomatoes and beans. Jack was also well known for his delicious homemade soups and pickles.
Although he often joked about being shy, anyone who knew Jack knew he loved conversation and connecting with others. He always brought a smile to everyone’s face.

Jack delighted in sharing the successes of his children and grandchildren, and he was immensely proud of all their accomplishments.
Jack’s adventurous spirit and enthusiasm will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
