The LA Lazers performed their high kick to the song “Light Em Up” and they performed to the song “Dear Future Husband” for their Jazz Funk performance under the direction of Coach Ashley Langerud.  LA Varsity in unison and  perfect timing.

TRC Dance Competition hosted by Lewiston Altura

Lewiston Altura Lazers hosted the Three Rivers Conference Dance competition on Saturday, January 17,2015.
Coach Ashley Langerud shared, “The girls varsity have worked hard. Their efforts have paid off since we see them improve each and every time they get out on the floor. They are having fun but they are giving their all to compete and have a good showing. Captain Mariah Langerud has been a bit of a goof with the team, but she gets the girls going and they have a great time and kick in their efforts to the best of their abilities.”
She continued, “The All conference dancers for this season are Mariah Langerud and Morgan Rinn.
Teams competing at the event included: Chatfield, Dover Eyota, Plainview-Elgin-Millville, Lewiston-Altura, Houston, Wabasha-Kellogg and St. Charles.
The teams performed with the varsity and their junior varsity teams in High Kick and Jazz Funk each performing with excitement, and spirit.
Assistant Coach Heather Kelly said, “I’m just so proud of how hard the girls work to make their performance the best. They continue to improve each and every time.”
St. Charles finished with 856 points to win the TRC title and also won the jazz portion of the event followed by Wabasha-Kellogg in second place and Lewiston-Altura taking third place.
Plainview-Elgin-Millville won the high kick title, St. Charles placed second and Dover-Eyota placed third.
