Adrian Pichler

Adrian Michael Pichler, 74, died peacefully at his home, in Breckenridge, Texas, on Saturday, March 12, 2016.
He was born in Albany Township to the late Adolph Pichler, Sr. and Rose (Bauer) Pichler on March 7, 1942.
After graduating from Lima High School, Adrian attended police training and spent many years as a police officer for the city of Mondovi.
He was united in marriage to Barbara Thorson on July 13, 1963, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rock Falls. To this union three children were born, James, Christopher and Michelle.
Adrian was always looking for new business ventures and spent time as a farmer, car dealer and in real estate. For the last 27 years, he and Barbara divided their time between Wisconsin and Texas. He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling and visiting. Adrian didn’t think of anyone as a stranger, only someone he hadn’t talked to yet.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children, James (Jane Ann) Pichler of Breckenridge, Texas, Christopher (Michelle) Pichler of Mondovi, Michelle (Jeff) Johnson of Nelson; grandchildren, Bryce Pichler of Mondovi, Alexandra (John) Boettcher of Mondovi, Sarah (fiancé Gerald Papenfus) Johnson of Mondovi, Haley Pichler of Breckenridge, Texas, Jacob Johnson of Nelson, Ellie Johnson of Nelson, Anthony Pichler of Breckenridge, Texas, Theodore Johnson of Nelson; great-grandchildren, Owen and Henry Boettcher of Mondovi; brothers, Dennis (Margaret) Pichler of Green Bay, Kenneth Pichler of Eau Claire, Adolph, Jr. (Jane) Pichler of Mondovi; sisters, Cita Pichler of Plum City, Rita (Mike) Hayden of Mondovi; brothers-in-law, Duane Webb of Colby, Ronald Risler of Mondovi; sisters-in-law, Shirley Pichler of Eau Claire, Kathy Pichler of Eau Claire.
Adrian was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Pichler and Arnold Pichler; sisters, Dorothy Webb, Marlene Risler, infant sister Mary Pichler; brother-in-law, Gene Haglund.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Mondovi. Father Paul Bosco will be officiating. A Visitation will be held two hours prior to Mass at the church from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mondovi.
