Robert Joseph Jungwirth

Robert Joseph Jungwirth, 60, of Durand, WI died Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at St.
Elizabeth’s Hospital in Wabasha, MN. He was born February 3, 1964 in Durand, WI; son of Hubert and Marian (Pichler) Jungwirth, the youngest of 6.
He graduated from Durand High School. Following high school he attended CVTC in Eau Claire where he received an associate degree in Engineering.
On June 2nd, 1990 he married Alicia LeFever in Phoenix, AZ.
Bob worked at Valley Publications in Wabasha, MN for over twenty years. He also worked for Durand Builders, and most recently worked at Durand Fresh Market.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, cooking, and trying new places to eat. He was a fan of the Celtics, the 49ers, and the Red Sox. He enjoyed watching WWII movies, MASH, and Anthony Bourdain shows. Bob loved spending time with his family, especially with his daughter, Maya.
He had a big heart, big soul; he was selfless and helpful to everyone. Bob was always smiling and was very giving.
He is survived by his wife, Alicia of Durand; daughter, Maya of Eau Claire; siblings, Diana (Francis) Brantner, Rudy (Cathy) Jungwirth, Larry (Barbara) Jungwirth, Debbie Babiracki, and Linda Young, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Marian.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
