Russell Leroy Heath

Russell Leroy Heath, 87, of Pepin, WI died Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Mayo Health Systems in Menomonie, WI. He was born March 9, 1938 in Durand, WI; son of Grant and Ruth (Tubbs) Heath. He attended West Frankfort School.
On November 30, 1955 he married Mary Jane Shaw at the United Methodist Church in Arkansaw, WI.
Russell worked in St. Paul at Armour Dial for over 40 years. He was also a handyman, who enjoyed helping everyone he could. He loved wood working, in his words “I like to make things look better.” He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Russell was a very kind person who loved his neighbors and especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a very proud member of the United Methodist Church in Arkansaw, WI.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Andy) Erickson of Menomonie, WI; sons, Douglas (Gay) Heath and Tommy (Michelle) Heath, both of Plum City, WI; grandchildren, Jenny (Brian) Mathison, Becky Heath, Andy (Sarah) Heath, Matt (Kellie) Heath, Tiffany Heath, and Kelsey Erickson; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Donald (Betsy) Heath, Carl (Lori) Heath, Charles Heath, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; parents, Grant and Ruth (Tubbs) Heath; brothers, Dale, Alfred, Laurence, James, and Robert Heath; sister, Roberta Heicht.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Arkansaw Memorial Cemetery. Following the burial a Celebration of Life will be held at Molly’s on Main in Plum City from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
