At age 90, Plainview native writes book
A Plainview native has written a book that has brought depression, addiction, and suicide to the forefront of readers’ attentions across the entire country.
Marjorie (Mussell) Struck, 90, has recently published “Tell Others,” a book about a family driven by depression, suicide, and addiction from one generation to the next and the important lesson learned to tell others.
“‘Tell Others’” was the inspiration to share experiences I had had from 1945 through the new millennium," said Struck.
With the passing of her beloved husband Joe and celebrating her 90th birthday, Struck was ready to write her family’s history of tragedy and to share the need for awareness with others.
According to Stuck, things like depression and addiction have spanned five generations in her family, from 1934 to 2012. But now, in 2018, Struck said it is time that the words “depression,”
