David Bryan Clark

David Bryan Clark, 67, of Plainview, MN passed away at home on November 30, 2023.
He was born to parents Paul and Joyce (Martinez) Clark on January 25, 1956, in Montebello, CA. David was raised in Pico Rivera, CA where he graduated from El Rancho High School followed by two years of undergrad at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, CA. 
David married Jacci Polson on August 9, 1986, in Lake City, MN. They resided in Whittier, CA and moved to Jacci’s home state of Minnesota in 1990 where they raised three children, Amber, Paige, and Landon. 
David worked at Mayo Clinic for 25 years and retired in 2018. He was a member at Trinity Evangelical Free Church where he served as an elder and deacon.
David was a gifted athlete and was offered several full-ride scholarships to play football at the college level before a brain tumor at age 17 changed his life. This ultimately led him to find his faith in Jesus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sporting events, and developed later hobbies in life of craft brewing and bird watching. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. His children and his grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy. 
David is survived by his loving wife Jacci Clark of 37 years; his children, Amber (Paul) Meyers of Rochester, MN, Paige (Matt) Osborn of Rochester, MN, and Landon Clark of Rochester, MN; special family member, Brad (Karen) Miller; nine beautiful grandchildren, Ashton, Hayden, Sophie, Evie, Hazel, Calvin, Moser, Daniel, and Isaiah; mother, Joyce; sisters, Arlene Alvarez, and Darlene Clark. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, and brothers, Mike Clark, and Steve Clark.
A celebration of life service was held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 2:00pm at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Plainview with Pastor Tyrone Spenst officiating. A visitation was held an hour before the service at the church. Burial to follow at Hilltop Fellowship Church, Millville.
David had been valiant throughout his life as he overcame the traumatic effects of brain injury and recurring tumors. David wished for memorials or donations may be made to Brain Injury Alliance and NAMI.
