Milon Mussell

Milon Ralph Mussell, 70, of Plainview died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at St, Mary’s Hospital in Rochester of Heart failure.
Milon was born December 17, 1949, in Winona to Ralph and Fern (Markwardt) Mussell. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1967. In September of 1969 Milon enlisted in the US Army and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged August 24, 1971. Milon married Kathy Jorgenson July 29, 1972, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview and they resided in Plainview. He began his employment at Lakeside Foods in 1973 and was currently still working there. Milon was an avid sports fan and loved the Minnesota Vikings. He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards, eating, especially fair food, and spending time with his family. Milon was a member of the Plainview American Legion.
He is survived by his wife Kathy of Plainview; 4 sons, Chad Mussell of Mazeppa, Cory Mussell of Zumbrota, Jamie (Mary) Mussell and Jesse Mussell, both of Plainview, 1 granddaughter Bailey Mussell; 1 sister, Marilyn Mae Remmers of Plainview and 1 brother Duane Mussell of Plainview.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Karen.
A private graveside service will be on Thursday, May 14 at Greenwood Cemetery in Plainview. Military rites will be conducted by the Plainview American Legion.
Schad & Zabel Funeral Home in Plainview is in charge of the arrangements.
