Decline in COVID-19 cases in E-S district

CENTRAL - A decline in the number of COVID-19 cases was reported to the Eleva-Strum Central School District School Board during its February meeting held back on the 9th.

Cory Kulig, E-S Superintendent, gave the board an update on the COVID-19 plan. With COVID-19 cases are down, there were less restrictions in the middle/high school during lunch and gym use. Elementary restrictions stayed the same for the lunch period at the time as cases of the Omicron variant of the virus began its rapid decline back at this time.

The board approve the 2023 Spanish Club trip to Spain and also approved the Cluster A Cooperative agreement, several district and board policies drawn up by the Neola Inc. and an unpaid leave request for a staff member after coming out of closed session to discuss the matter.
