Easing back into normal over Memorial Day weekend

HIXTON - While many Memorial Day weekend events were cancelled because of the uncertainty of the times, celebrating the lifting of the stay at home ban, a flea market was held in Hixton on the grounds between the motel and the Peddler's Wife store.

Lots of folks took advantage of the opportunity to be out and about - and in most cases, social distancing was observed.

Not only did shoppers find treasures at the various stands, but Brenda's Fry Bread was also on site, offering delicious treats!
