Jackson County Board approves resolution on real estate transfer fees

BLACK RIVER FALLS - The Jackson County Board of Supervisors, during its May meeting on the 15th, approved a resolution the body intends to send to the state which supports a proposal to revise the real
estate transfer fee share formula.

The resolution asks the state to again allow Wisconsin Counties to retain 50 percent of all real estate transfer fees collected, with 50 percent to be remitted to the State.

The measure was adopted by a unanimous vote.
