Jackson County votes on changes to ordinances

BLACK RIVER FALLS - The Jackson County Board of Supervisors held their January meeting on the 16th and approved two resolutions to make revisions to county ordinances and codes.

The first resolution, approved unanimously directed the Highway Commissioner to open all County trunk Highways to ATV/UTV travel. The second resolution, also approved unanimously, updated changes to definitions and remove unnecessary language relating to housing and tattoo parlor licensing, The Jackson County Health and Human Services- Public Health Division, has made modifications to Chapter 11, Sections 11.06 -11.08 and these modifications have been approved by Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services and the Jackson County Board of Health.

In other agenda items, the Board also unanimously approved a resolution to commemorate and proclaim March 2023 as Women in History throughout Jackson County.
