Members of Hixton Lucky Clovers Have Fun Doing Community Service

By Lori Johnson
HIXTON - There wasn't anybody leaning on shovels, when members of the Hixton Lucky Clovers 4-H gathered on Sunday, January 26. Those shovels were MOVING!
As a community service project, the group had made the commitment to shovel out fire hydrants in the Hixton area and that is exactly what they did. Clearing around forty hydrants in under two hours proved they were very intent on moving snow and moms Darby Sampson, Janessa Sedelbauer, and Karla Laufenberg. were having as much fun as the kids.
Those members able to participate in this refreshing service project: Austin and Bryce Laufenberg, Austin Olson, Colby and Cordell Sampson, Brenna Thorson, and Hallie Kniseley.
With service projects such as this, Hixton is very lucky to have their Hixton Lucky Clovers!
