Strum Village Board approves 2023 budget
STRUM - The Strum Village Board approved its 2023 budget at a special meeting held on Nov. 28 at the Village Hall.
The total budget came to $1,576,644.34 The portion of the budget paid for by the tax levy came to $$339,088.08.
The Board also approved a motion to approve the Addendum to the Master Agreement for the ally street projects.
In the Board's Nov. 14 meeting, the Board approved a building permit to Alyssa Miller on Hawthorn Street for a fence.
The Board discussed a new lease for the Viking Golf and Dining and an update was given on the condition of a property on 7th St. with a new of items and vehicles in the yard.
The General Election was on November 8th, 2022. There were 444 voters, 54 absentee ballots, and 34 new voter registrations. This calculates out to a 68% voter turnout.
